Chamber Objectives
- Attract customers to the Township of Dorion, Hurkett, Red Rock, Nipigon, Lake Helen, MacDiarmid and Beardmore and create an atmosphere which will encourage customers to return;
- Promote and encourage fair and courteous dealings with customers;
- Promote and encourage ethical business practices;
- Promote fellowship among people in business in the Townships of Dorion, Hurkett, Red Rock, Nipigon, Lake Helen, MacDiarmid and Beardmore.
- Promote and foster community spirit and engage in work of moral, benevolent and community service nature for the residents of the Townships of Dorion, Hurkett, Red Rock, Nipigon, Lake Helen, MacDiarmid and Beardmore;
- Organize cultural and recreational events;
- Pursue interest in the civic, commercial, social and moral welfare of the community;
- Provide a forum for the discussion of all matters of public interest;
- Promote the principals of good government and good citizenship.
